Brigg Town have a day off in the Lincolnshire County Cricket League this Saturday (June 11) but Broughton and Hibaldstow teams will be playing at home.
Town have taken only four points out of a possible 60 from their opening three fixtures in Division Three West and find themselves propping up the table.
Shortage of runs when batting has proved the main issue.
However, Broughton 2nds have made a promising start to their programme in the same section.
Currently third, they visit unbeaten leaders Haxey 2nds tomorrow.
Broughton's first teamers have not been doing as well as many observers expected and are just clear of the relegation zone in Division One.
Tomorrow they have home advantage against Alkborough (1pm start).
Hibaldstow, who host Cleethorpes 3rds, will be playing only their third Division Two fixture of the campaign.
The local villagers have been making good progress in the Bob Welton Cup, though, and are now getting ready for a semi-final visit to Barton Town - confirmed for June 26.
Last Sunday's entire programme in the Mick Walker North Lindsey Cricket League was washed out without a ball being bowled.
Hibaldstow 2nds and Broughton 3rds have agreed to re-arrange their cancelled local derby for a later date.
Hoping for better weather this Sunday, Hibaldstow will visit Division Two leaders Alkborough, while Broughton are at Outcasts (near Crowle), seeking their first victory of the season in this section of the competition.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Brigg will see another Ancholme Valley Parkrun, starting at 9am from the Ancholme Way Bridge and heading north along the riverside path.
Last Saturday's event attracted 119 competitors - many locals being joined by people from as far afield as Hull, Lincoln, Skegness and Goole. View the results here...
