Home advantage has been secured by Brigg Town Football Club in the end of season promotion play-offs.
The Zebras won 3-1 at Dronfield yesterday (Saturday, April 2) to make sure they finish third in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One, with one game still to come.
Hallam are now the champions, and the second promotion place will go to one of the four teams immediately below them in the table.
In the divisional play-off semi-finals on Saturday, April 16, Brigg will host fourth-placed Harrogate Railway, while North Ferriby (second) are at home to Rossington Main (fifth).
The winners of these games will then meet on Saturday, April 23 in the play-off final to decide who else joins Hallam in the top flight for the 2022/2023 campaign.
Goals from Andrew Taylor, Josh Batty and Scott Phillips earned Brigg the points at mid-table Dronfield (Derbyshire) yesterday.
Visiting Skegness Town Reserves, Brigg Town Development were beaten 4-1 in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.
Just a reminder... Table-topping Brigg Town Veterans are in action this afternoon (Sunday) at the EC Surfacing Stadium. Kick-off is at 2pm with free admission, and the clubhouse will be open.
