Brigg is to have a new Christmas Pop-Up Shop open over six weeks in the run up to the big day, with the range of goods on offer being changed week by week.
This will be of interest to local people seeking festive gifts for friends and family.
With different traders taking part on various days, plenty of variety will be on offer.
The pop-up shop will be located within the landmark Buttercross, in the heart of the town centre.
Starting on November 11, there will be an opportunity for small businesses without shop fronts to showcase their gifts and goods in this historic building in the Market Place, which is passed by hundreds of people in the pedestrian area.
Various traders will be setting their stall out from 9am to 2pm on the following dates:
November: 11/12/13, 18/19/20 and 25/26/27
December: 2/3/4, 9/10/11, 16/17/18 and 23/24 (Christmas Eve).
The venue fee for traders is £10 per day.
Those interested can call in at the Buttercross and speak to North Lincolnshire Council staff during opening hours, or email brigg.tic@northlincs.gov.uk
The Buttercross now houses North Lincolnshire Council's Business Support and Tourism Centre on its ground floor.
The building has seen more than 200 Christmases past since it opened in 1819, which was 18 years before Queen Victoria became monarch!
There is also a Christmas fundraising event coming up in Broughton for which stall bookings are now being invited.
They will be set up in the Village Hall on Friday, November 19 - all funds raised to be donated to help Dog Paws.
Admission for visiting members of the public will be 50p; there will be a raffle and an early appearance by Santa.
