There will be TWO markets operating in Brigg town centre today (Saturday, September 28) from early morning into the afternoon.
In addition to the traditional Saturday market offering fruit & veg, flowers and fish there will be a range of stalls forming the latest Totally Locally Indie Market (staffed by independent traders).
The organisers say: "Our aim is to promote and support local independent businesses in and around Brigg, whether they’re internet, local market or brick and mortar based.
"We want to encourage the local residents to shop local, which in return puts more money into the local economy rather than the pockets of the large retailers like Amazon."
The Indie stalls are well worth a look, as is the general Saturday market, and there's free car parking in Brigg on Saturdays as a concession from North Lincolnshire Council.
