There were goals galore yet again in a home match for Brigg Town Football Club at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) last night (Wednesday, September 22).
Promotion-chasing Brigg defeated Rainworth Miners Welfare 5-0 in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One.
The goals flowed in the second half - three of them coming in the final seven minutes.
On the mark were Finley O'Sullivan, Alfie Usher, Ollie Fisher, Andrew Taylor and Scott Phillips.
A sizeable crowd for this level of football - 216 - watched Brigg Town move three points clear at the top of the table, and add to what was already a very impressive goal difference, now standing at +28.
The Zebras have secured 28 points out of a possible 33 in their opening 11 fixtures - a great start to the season.
The last three home league games have been won 7-3, 7-0 and now 5-0!
