Blue skies over the town early this morning prompt us to remind people that historic Brigg Horse Fair 2021 is taking place today (Thursday, August 5). The location is land off Station Road, adjoining the railway station.
Interested people often ask: "What's the best time to visit?"
The answer - based on observations over many years - is between 10am and noon, although this is an all-day event.
Keep and eye and an ear out for approaching horses if you decide to visit today, and watch where you're putting for feet!
Horses will be traded and there are supporting stalls to browse, selling a range of items.
Brigg Blog will be posting a report in due course about today's Horse Fair, with pictures from this traditional annual event.
