BRIGG GAMES ROOM APPROVED

Provision of a new games room forms part of the latest planning application in Brigg to be granted permission by North Lincolnshire Council.
Having last year given approval for a new domestic property to be built on land off Almond Grove, the authority has now agreed modifications "to add fascia and soffits, alter the eaves levels and garage on plot 3 to become a games room."
Higgins Builders Ltd was the successful applicant.
An assessment report prepared by council planning staff said the proposal was seeking to make a non-material amendment to a detached dwelling (already approved) to alter eaves' levels and garage to become a games room.
This property forms part of a small development on land to the west of Almond Grove near the Donkey Park children's play area on the edge of the long-established Newlands housing estate. Vehicular and pedestrian access is from Almond Grove.
Outline planning permission to erect two dwellings in Barnetby is now being sought from North Lincolnshire Council (decision awaited). The intended location is The Sawmill - access road to Low Wood Lodge.
Also awaiting a ruling is an application to erect a two-storey rear extension and a new front porch (following demolition of existing conservatory) at 8 Labrador Drive, Broughton.
