The popular Brigg Matters magazine has been in touch, asking that we draw our site followers' attention to its appeal for "interesting contributions" to be considered for publication in the next issue. Brigg Matters is operated by volunteers and is 'not for profit'. After a break of some months, it resumed publication with a Winter edition (pictured above), copies being distributed to properties in Brigg and neighbouring settlements.
FROM GRAHAM WEST, BRIGG MATTERS
Happy New Year to all of our advertisers, readers and the good people of Brigg and district! Things don’t look too bright for the new year but we share our hopes and wishes for better times with everyone.
The next issue of Brigg Matters is due out towards the end of March and is officially our Spring issue. Sadly, because so many activities have been shut down we are unable to profile many events past, present or future. We are therefore seeking contributions on any subject or story that you think would interest our readers. It can be on any topic that fits within our publication’s profile.
Our copy deadline is mid February and you may include photographs (with credits) and or drawings. Children’s contributions are also welcome.
Please submit your proposals by email to: briggmatters@yahoo.co.uk, either as a Word.doc file or copied and pasted into the email. Please, no advertising! We cannot guarantee that every submission will make it to the next issue but it’s worth a try!
