Proposed additions to a detached property in Brigg have been approved by North Lincolnshire Council.
Planning permission has been granted to demolish an existing prefabricated garage and erect a new garage with studio above at Nicolgate, 26 Wrawby Road, which is on the other side of the A18 from Sir John Nelthorpe Lower School.
The Town Council raised no objections to this scheme.
Another Brigg application has now been submitted, seeking permission to make internal alterations and replace a rear bay window with bifold doors at 2 Manor House Convent, Bigby Street.
This forms part of the former Brigg Manor House and Convent School. Dating back to the 18th century, it is a grade two listed property within the conservation area.
North Lincolnshire planners are now considering the application, and the Town Council will be consulted as part of the process.
During its recently held December meeting, the town authority's Planning & Environment Committee raised no objections to the planned erection of a first-floor side extension at 19 Foxglove Close.
Deputy Town Mayor Coun Brian Parker, who was chairing the meeting, said he had taken a look and could not see any problem with the application.
North Lincolnshire Council will now take the final decision in due course.
