COUNCIL REVEALS WHEN THE ANGEL IN BRIGG WILL REOPEN

North Lincolnshire Council has now revealed when the Angel in Brigg will reopen, offering a range of community facilities to the public.
The building, which houses the 'hub' giving access to local authority services, our library and the heritage centre, will reopen over two days - Monday and Tuesday, October 26 and 27.
This follows extensive refurbishment which has included the installation of a new front entrance.
The work was due to have been completed in late August but has been delayed for various reasons.
Brigg Blog and other members of the media have been invited to attend a preview of the completed project on Friday, October 23 and will be looking to take pictures to reflect the changes made.
The Cafe Courtyard, on the ground floor, has been unaffected by the refurbishment programme.
Brigg Town Council has now moved its offices from the basement to one of the Angel's upper floors.
Off Exchange Place (near the Lord Nelson) there is a side entrance to the Angel from which access can be gained to the Town Council's office on the second floor - room S04. This office is open on Thursdays, 9.30am to 12.30pm. At other times, call 01652 659402 or email enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk
Brigg Heritage Centre, located in the Angel, will re-open its doors to the public from Tuesday, October 27. Visitors will notice changes   to make the facility 'Covid secure'. Temporary new opening hours will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10am-2pm. And don't forget your face mask!
