Brigg Town Football Club's first teamers continued their unbeaten start to the season in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One yesterday (Saturday, October 3).
The Zebras missed out on their third successive victory but returned from Hull with a creditable 2-2 draw after taking on Hall Road Rangers.
Two goals from Andrew Taylor gave Brigg the lead at the interval, but the home side netted twice early in the second half. The Zebras are now in seventh spot after three games.
Brigg's next outing will be away to Armthorpe Welfare, near Doncaster, this Saturday (October 10). Armthorpe have lost their opening three matches.
At the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) Brigg Town Reserves drew 2-2 with Tetney Rovers yesterday (October 3) in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.
The Reserves are 13th in the table after one win, two draws and four defeats. Seventeen teams are involved in this season's Premier League.
