North Lincolnshire Council's Planning Committee approved a Brigg application of 'significant public interest' yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, October 21).
Holding a 'virtual' meeting online due to the Coronavirus emergency restrictions, the committee - comprising elected councillors drawn from across the district - granted permission for domestic housing improvements to be carried out at a property on the Springbank estate.
Approval was sought to remove a garage to the rear, erect a garage to the side and replace a conservatory with a single-storey rear extension at 2 Atkinson Avenue. This property is near South View Avenue and Woodbine Park.
Consulted as part of the planning process, Brigg Town Council supported the proposal.
