A food business in Brigg town centre is now making use of a recent pavement licence granted to it by North Lincolnshire Council.
Following a successful application to the local authority, the YellowBelly Pizza Company in the Market Place has a table and chairs on the paved area at certain times which customers can use, in addition to furniture inside the premises.
Another successful pavement licence application gave the Woolpack permission to put tables and chairs outside it frontage on the other side of the Market Place, and the pub soon began doing so.
The council has added time-related conditions to the pavement licences to ensure market day stalls are unaffected by tables and chairs outside these premises.
