The newest beer garden in Brigg is now open for business.
This welcome feature was added during lockdown near the main entrance to Brigg Town Football Club's licensed Hawthorns clubhouse.
A turfed area with a range of table/seating is in the process of being installed nearby.
Inside the clubhouse, Pips Kitchen has extended its menu of meals and snacks.
Brigg Town FC is now a Community Interest Club - open to all.
It's half a century since the initial licensed bar was launched with the Town Mayor and Town Clerk joining the president and chairman for the ceremonial pulling of the first pint.
The clubhouse, incorporated into the main stand, was much smaller than it is today, having enjoyed several extensions, plus very recent internal refurbishment.
On our way to the Hawthorns to take these pictures yesterday morning, we were very pleased to see friendly games of singles tennis being played on a couple of courts at the adjoining Recreation Ground.
Lockdown imposed on this sport has been lifted by the government, subject to certain safety measures being in place.
In the town centre, internal work continues, on College Yard, to create a new venture - Blush Avenue Beauty & Aesthetics - pictured yesterday (Wednesday, July 8).
