HOW LONG BEFORE BULKY ITEM COLLECTIONS IN BRIGG RESUME?
Some Brigg households currently have bulky household items like old fridges and freezers awaiting collection by North Lincolnshire Council.
The local authority suspended its popular bulky item collection service many weeks ago due to the Coronavirus emergency. It also put garden waste bin emptying on hold for some time, but that has now restarted.
So how much longer will it be before the bulky item service is restored?
We put that question to the council earlier this week.
The Customer Service reply, which will be of interest to a number of households who have replaced major domestic appliances or items of furniture in recent weeks, says: "Unfortunately we still don't have a date as to when the bulk collections are resuming. Once we do, we will update our website and you will be able to request the collection on-line."
The collection service offered by the council is greatly appreciated, and (in normal times) you don't have to wait very long for items to be picked up.
