DON'T LET BRIGG ROAD CLOSURE MAKE YOU CROSS
Please remember there's a road closure in Brigg tomorrow.
The A1084 will be closed to vehicles at the Bigby Road/Bigby High Road level crossing on Sunday, June 14, from 1am to 7.30am so work can be carried out.
This period has been chosen to cause the least inconvenience to motorists.
Cars can use Kettleby Lane, Wrawby, as a diversion.
Brigg's new barrier level crossing was only installed in March to replace the old wooden gates - this work being undertaken over four weekends.
Since then, for various reasons, only a few freight trains have passed over it.
There are now global days for many reasons and causes.
Earlier this week saw the UK's many level crossings in the spotlight on International Level Crossing Awareness Day. Yes, you read that correctly!
The aim is to get the public to stop, look and listen for approaching trains before venturing over the tracks. That's sound advice!
