Planning permission to build a detached dwelling in Brigg has been refused by North Lincolnshire Council.
The suggested location for the property was land adjacent to 1 Bramble Way - on the edge of the Newlands estate.
However, council planners have no objection to a new household extension being added at 33 St Clares Walk, Brigg.
A decision is awaited from the local authority about an application to erect a single-storey 'granny' flat to the rear of Silver Birches, 22 Bigby High Road, Brigg.

BROUGHTON: Erect summer house, 22 Staniwells Drive.
WRAWBY: Add drop kerb to make access to driveway at Milkwood, Melton Road.
BARNETBY: Erect four dwellings with landscaping and access, land adjacent to 1 Silver Street.
