HOME GAMES FOR BRIGG TOWN & BRIGGENSIANS THIS WEEKEND
Having won their last two fixtures, Brigg Town Football Club will host Skegness Town in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) this Saturday (March 14) with a 3pm kick-off. Skegness are third in the table while Brigg are 14th in the 20-team competition.
Brigg Town Reserves journey to Grimsby Borough Reserves in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier. Brigg are 10th - immediately below the Borough.
In the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League, Division One leaders Barnetby United host Epworth Town Colts Blues at Silver Street on Saturday (3pm).
In Division Two, mid-table Briggensians will be hoping for better things, having lost 2-0 at home to foot-of-the-table Santon last weekend. According to long-serving Santon secretary Mally Ayre, this was the first time since the 2010/11 season his team had kept a clean sheet. Tomorrow, Briggensians meet second-from-bottom Scotter United Reserves at Brigg Recreation Ground (3pm).
