BRIGG TO SCUNTHORPE BUS SERVICE CHANGES FROM TODAY
Buses continue to serve Brigg and Broughton during the Coronavirus alert, but Hornsbys is making some changes across North Lincolnshire from today (Monday, March 23).
The Ashby-based company, which has been providing public transport in this area for well over 100 years, says that "due to a decline in ridership" on its buses recently, the SATURDAY TIMETABLE has been extended to include Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
However, the shoppers' bus service visiting Brigg housing estates which will continue as normal.
From today (Monday) until further notice the No 4 service alone (not the X4) will link Brigg and Scunthorpe via Lakeside Retail Park, Ashby and Bottesford.
Departures from Cary Lane to Scunthorpe are: 7.30am, 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Departures from Brigg Barnard Avenue (near Wetherspoon's) are: 6.30pm, 7.15pm and 8.50pm. These buses run through Castlethorpe, Wressle and Broughton.
