BRIGG LIVE MUSIC FANS HAVE CHOICE OF SKA, BRITPOP & BALLADS THIS WEEKEND
There's a wide choice of FREE live music to enjoy in Brigg and district this weekend.
The Woolpack, in the Market Place, has a karaoke contest tonight (Friday, March 6) from 9pm. Pop in and take part - there are prizes to be won.
Jimi Jimmi will be providing the music at the Woolpack tomorrow (Saturday) from 9pm.
He's well-know locally and covers a variety of songs made famous by many stars, including Elvis, Rod Stewart, Roy Orbison and Neil Diamond.
On the other side of the Market Place, award-winning vocalist Si Sonata will be performing at the Lord Nelson on Saturday evening. He offers chart-topping tunes from six decades.
Seven-piece ska and soul band Special Bru will be back by popular demand at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, on Saturday (7th). Everyone is welcome at this gig, the venue stresses.
And last, but by no means least, a reminder that local Britpop group The Dirty Pitchers will be playing at Elsham Golf Club on Saturday night - non-members of this sporting venue being welcome to attend the show - admission free.
The Peacekeeperz band went down well at the Woolpack last Saturday night (February 29) with plenty of audience members dancing to the music.
