CUP TIES AHEAD FOR BRIGG, HIBALDSTOW AND BROUGHTON TEAMS


Brigg Town Cricket Club will be facing a busy 2020 season in Lincolnshire County Cricket League Division Three.
Provisional fixtures have now been compiled, showing Brigg opening with a home fixture against Nettleham 2nds at the Recreation Ground on Saturday, April 25.
Brigg's final game will also be at home, with Scunthorpe Town 3rds visiting The Rec on Saturday, September 12.
In the Supplementary Cup, Brigg have been drawn in Group A. They will visit Caistor 2nds on May 16, host Barton 2nds on May 23 and then entertain East Halton on May 30 - all Saturday matches. The top side in the group will progress to the semi-finals on Sunday, June 28.
Broughton 2nds have been promoted to Division Two and will open the season on April 18 with a trip to Holton-le-Clay 2nds.
Hibaldstow have moved up to Division One and will visit Louth 2nds on the opening day of the season, when Broughton's first teamers will be entertaining Outcasts in the same section.
In the first round of the Bob Welton Cup, to be played on May 2, Broughton 2nds have been drawn away to Hartsholme 2nds (Lincoln), while Hibaldstow have a home tie against Grimsby Town 2nds.
Saturday, May 2 will see Broughton's first team in action in the league's senior knockout competition, the George Marshall Trophy, with a home tie against Holton-le-Clay.
