BRIGG PUBS ON THE BALL THIS WEEKEND

Brigg could see a fair number of blue-shirted visitors from London this Saturday (January 25). Some buses taking Chelsea football fans to Hull City are expected to make a refreshment stop in Brigg at lunch-time and early afternoon as the FA Cup tie at the KCOM Stadium does not kick off until 5.30pm.
Saturday night will see two free-to-attend live music gigs in Brigg.
Singer/guitarist Hollie Sharpin will be entertaining at the Black Bull from 8pm, with singer Simon Reeves performing at the Woolpack from 9pm.
The Britannia Inn is hosting a Burns Night supper on Saturday - in aid of forces' charities.
Tuck into haggis, neeps & tatties for a small charge from 7.30pm, and there will be a raffle. This event continues throughout the evening, proceeds going to Veterans Against Suicide UK and Soldiers Off The Street.

Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, on Coney Court, is hosting a children's party with disco on Sunday (January 26) from 1pm to 3pm. It costs £2 - pay on the door. There will also be face painting and a raffle. All are welcome to attend, the venue says.
