LATEST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES RELEASED BY POLICE
There has been a sizeable reduction in Brigg crime, we are very pleased to report.
Latest monthly statistics released through www.police.uk show 40 offences recorded by Humberside Police during October 2019 - nine fewer than in September.
And four of the 40 crimes recorded for Brigg last month actually took place in neighbouring Broughton parish. They happened on Waters Edge but are included in Brigg's crime figures because police use a one-mile radius from the town centre as the yardstick for statistical purposes. This also takes in adjoining parts of Wrawby and Scawby parishes.
Thirteen crimes were recorded in Brigg town centre during October and seven others on the Sprinbank housing estate.
