JOSIE WEBB TO PRESENT NEXT BRIGG HISTORY TALK

Josie Webb is to present the next illustrated talk for Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH).
A founder member of this popular and well-established group which hosts monthly meetings, Josie's subject will be The History of The Women's Land Army, her talk being entitled All in a Day's Work.
Josie, pictured, will outline the important role played by women in agriculture during the two world wars, drawing on her late mum's memories and photographs.
Admission to her talk on Tuesday, December 3 is free. It will take place at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, starting at 8pm.
There's no requirement to book places in advance - just turn up on the night. Light refreshments will be served and a raffle held to help towards costs.
