GENERAL ELECTION 2019: MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE IN BRIGG
People living in Brigg who have yet to register to vote in the forthcoming General Election need to get their skates on.
Registrations must be received by 11.59pm on Tuesday, November 26 to be able to vote IN PERSON in the election on December 12.
If you want to apply to vote BY POST, register by 5pm on November 26.
Use this link to complete your application which will take about five minutes...
It could well be that you are already registered.
North Lincolnshire Council, our local electoral authority, explains: If you voted in the North Lincolnshire local elections or European elections in May 2019, and you have not moved house since then, you do not need to re-register to vote in this election."
Polling cards have been delivered to Brigg addresses in recent days, setting out the polling stations assigned to voters in the Brigg & Goole constituency election.
Voting hours will be 7am to 10pm.
Please remember that the polling card is an advisory document; you do NOT need to take it with you in order to vote.
If you are unsure whether you're registered to vote, or have other questions relating to the election, call 01724 296245 or email elections@northlincs.gov.uk
Some communities near Brigg are in the Scunthorpe Constituency for voting purposes; others - over the county border in West Lindsey - are within the Gainsborough Constituency.
