FIVE NEW HOMES APPROVED IN THE BRIGG AREA
Approval has been given for five new homes to be built in a village near Brigg.
North Lincolnshire Council has now granted detailed planning permission.
Outline approval for the development at Sturton Nurseries, Main Street, Sturton, near Scawby, was granted in 2018, and the council has now approved a further application relating to access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale.
A council report said: "It is considered that the proposal for five dwellings, given the layout and design, would not impact the amenities of the neighbouring occupiers."
When granting planning permission, the council added a standard condition that the development must begin within three years.
Meanwhile, permission has been granted to retain a timber tree house at 10 Swannacks View, Scawby.
Approval to erect a two-storey rear extension at 101 Blythe House, St Barnabas Road, Barnetby, is being sought. This application is now being considered by North Lincolnshire Council.
North Lincolnshire Council has refused an application which sought permission to erect a pair of semi-detached dwellings with garaging/parking and turning, and form a new access and crossover, on a plot adjacent The Hatcheries, Marsh Lane, Barnetby.
Planners told the applicant that the siting of the proposed development outside the development boundary had not been adequately justified.
Planning permission has been applied for to erect a single-storey rear extension at Gleneagles, Brigg Road, Wrawby.
Planning approval to erect a gym, carport and additional outbuildings, including associated works, is being requested at Cadney Lodge, Main Street, Cadney.
