BRIGG FOOTBALLER DONATING HIS HAIR TO HELP CHILDREN'S CHARITY

A well-known Brigg footballer is to have his "long and luscious locks" carefully snipped off in aid of a very good cause.
Chris Rodgers will be donating his hair to the Little Princess Trust which make wigs for children who have lost theirs due to cancer treatment and other conditions.
He is now appealing for local sponsors to back his efforts and has asked Brigg Blog to help spread the word about his fundraiser.
Chris tells us: "I'm booked in with the hairdresser in the morning on Saturday, 16th November. Sarah’s Retreat, 3 Morley Yard, Old Courts Road, Brigg, has kindly offered to cut it for free - appointment is 9:30."
We understand it can cost £500 to provide a specialist wig for a youngster.
