BRIGG DERBY KICKS OFF HISTORIC HETT CUP COMPETITION 2019/20

An annual and historic football competition kicks off in Brigg tonight (Wednesday, November 6) with spectators very welcome.
The Hett Cup - donated to local sport more than 100 years ago - will be played for by many teams over the coming weeks.
All 2019-20 season ties will be taking place at Brigg Town FC's EC Surfacing ground (The Hawthorns).
Tonight, AFC Brigg will be taking on Briggensians (7pm KO).
Entry to the game costs £2 and a raffle will be held.
The competition raises money for local charities - handing over more than £1,000 last season.
This year the organisers are hoping to top that total.
