LATEST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES RELEASED BY POLICE
Police have released the latest crime figures for Brigg.
They are for August 2019 and record incidents within a one-mile radius of the town centre, which includes parts of some neighbouring parishes.
There were 56 crimes reported during August - an increase of four on July's total www.police.uk reveals.
The breakdown, by category, for August is:
Anti-social behaviour 9
Bicycle theft 0
Burglary 6
Criminal damage and arson 4
Drugs 0
Other crime 2
Other theft 5
Possession of weapons 0
Public order 7
Robbery 0
Shoplifting 3
Theft from the person 0
Vehicle crime 2
Violence and sexual offences 18
A breakdown of the August figures shows that 18 crimes took place within the town centre, with a further seven on Bridge Street.
There were five crimes recorded on the Waters Edge housing estate (Broughton parish) and one in Scawby Brook.
