Our friends at the Brigg Matters community magazine, which is run by volunteers, have asked Brigg Blog to help publicise the following vacancies - something we are very happy to do.

Wanted - Graphic Designer, Brigg Matters Magazine
We are seeking a volunteer graphic designer to help produce the layout and final pre-print artwork for Brigg Matters the local not-for-profit Community Enterprise Magazine.
Now in its 16th year, the A4 full colour glossy magazine is published quarterly and is distributed throughout the Brigg and district area by a team of volunteers. You may have recently qualified or retired as a graphic designer but would like to develop or retain your acquired skills by helping this local enterprise. The successful candidate would work closely with the editor and a cheerful and committed team of people who enjoy their respective roles in producing this highly respected publication. It would also provide the opportunity to meet up with many members of the local community and local business people. Wanted - Treasurer, Brigg Matters Magazine
Due to a forthcoming retirement we are looking for a volunteer to take up the role of treasurer for Brigg Matters, the local, not-for-profit community magazine - published quarterly and now in its 16th year.  The role includes attending three evening meetings per issue plus approximately 10/12 hours of project work per issue. No conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and a working knowledge of Excel are basic requirements - although mentoring will be given. The successful candidate would be a member of a cheerful and committed team of volunteers producing a successful and much admired community magazine. Wanted - Deliverers for Brigg Matters Magazine
Brigg Matters & District Community Magazine needs volunteer deliverers to help our enthusiastic team deliver the magazine in the Brigg area. Contrary to what some people assume, Brigg Blog is not part of the Brigg Matters production team, although we do contribute articles and pictures from time to time.
However, we do work closely with Brigg Matters, particularly its Chairman, who often supplies pictures to us, and we have long admired the magazine and what it achieves in every issue.
Brigg Matters and Brigg Blog share a common aim - keeping local people informed!
