EXCITING NEW FOOD FESTIVAL COMING TO BRIGG

Food businesses across North Lincolnshire are invited to come forward to take part in an exciting new food festival, taking place across the district, with Brigg lined up to host the first, the council tells us.
The idea behind the new food festival is to host monthly food markets in towns across North Lincolnshire - including Scunthorpe, Brigg, Barton, Crowle, Epworth, Kirton and Winterton - and showcase the wide range of local products available.
Businesses which produce cooked, ready-to-eat food, food to be cooked at home, and beverages, are all welcome in the new travelling food festival.
It is hoped the first festival will take place in Brigg Market Place in September.
For more information, please contact Nikki Byrne, on nikki.byrne@northlincs.gov.uk or call 01724 296896.
North Lincolnshire Council is behind this new initiative and Brigg Blog has already placed a request to be informed about the number of stalls, etc, nearer the time. We'll be sure to keep you posted!
