Here's Brigg Blog's guide to entertainment and events coming up in the town over the August 2019 bank holiday weekend. There's plenty coming up, including a brand new pub-related fun run
The Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street, is hosting a karaoke and disco night on Friday (August 23) and has The Drag Dreams Duo performing from 9pm on Sunday (August 25).

The route of the run will take in the Yarborough Hunt, Lord Nelson, Dying Gladiator and Black Bull before finishing at the Britannia where there will be a barbecue during the afternoon, plus a raffle, tombola, games and free pool. Mark Williams will be playing music from 2pm to 4pm. Accompanied children are welcome and there will be a prize for best fancy dress for adults and kids. This event is being organised in aid of  the Soldiers off the Streets charity by the Brigg & District Veterans' Group, in association with the Britannia.
