SCAWBY ACADEMY IN PERFORMING ARTS FINAL

A school from the Brigg area took part in the final of a major performing arts event.

Ten schools from across Cumbria, Hull, Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire competed.
The final was attended by a large audience and supported by a number of special guests and sponsors.

Fifth Place: Scawby Academy, Brigg, North Lincolnshire - The Two Tribes
Deep within the jungle, two opposing tribes are at war. But when two young warriors fall in love and escape in to the jungle together, how will they keep their love a secret? As two hearts combine, will the everlasting feud finally come to an end?
Attending this evening were a panel of expert judges. One of them, Katie Daniel,commented: “I was very impressed with the standard of tonight’s performances. It’s so reassuring to see so many young people enjoying themselves, expressing their creativity and getting the opportunity to perform in such a professional environment!”
