Permission is being sought to retain a cafe serving the Brigg area.
It sells breakfasts, butties, "weekly specials" and tea and coffee and is located near the filling station on Brigg Road, Hibaldstow.
The eatery employs three people full time.
North Lincolnshire Council, which is being asked to grant planning permission for retention of change of use to a cafe, is now considering the application from the Jennys company.
Last uses of the site - vacant until mid-March this year - are a car wash and an ice cream parlour.
