BRIGG BIKE NIGHT 2019 - DATE & DETAILS ANNOUNCED

Brigg Bike Night 2019 - Date and details have been announced by chief organiser Lucy Fensome - pictured outside her Yarborough Hunt pub

The date of Brigg Bike Night 2019 has been announced by chief organiser Lucy Fensome - motorcycle fan and landlady of the Yarborough Hunt pub, on Bridge Street.
Now back behind the bar after maternity leave, Lucy informs Brigg Blog that this major spectator event will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019.
The usual evening road closure for Bridge Street has been applied for through North Lincolnshire Council, the local highway authority.
The event, from 5pm, will see scores of two-wheel enthusiasts riding their gleaming machines into Brigg to meet up with fellow bikers.
Hundreds of spectators will be there to admire the parked-up bikes, including some vintage survivors made by British manufacturers like BSA, Norton and Triumph.
Visitors can expect the Yarborough Hunt to have its supplementary 'outside bar' operating at the side of the premises, to reduce congestion within the pub.
Various stands and vans will be located on Bridge Street to serve food and drink to those attending Brigg Bike Night 2019.
By drawing so many people into Brigg, bike night benefits many town centre fast food outlets and hostelries. It's a real boost for the local economy.
Make a note of the date and keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
