So we are very pleased to see an application seeking planning approval for new rear decking, pergoda and bi-fold doors at the Brigg Road hostelry alongside the A1084 linking Brigg and Caistor.
West Lindsey District Council is currently considering the details submitted on behalf of Punch Partnerships Ltd, of Burton On Trent.
The award-winning Cross Keys, which serves meals in its restaurant, is on a hill above the village and enjoys wonderful views of the Ancholme Valley and the Wolds.
Planned investment in local pubs is always welcome, and the Cross Keys is well worth a visit.
While on the subject of villages close to Brigg, West Lindsey planners have also received an application for a lawful development certificate relating to extensions and alterations at Somerby Hall.
Planning permission is being sought for conversion of a single-storey outbuilding to form annexe accommodation at Grasby Top Farm, Grasby Wold Lane, Grasby.
West Lindsey District Council has now granted permission to erect a tractor shed/workshop/store and perimeter fencing at Huon House, Kettleby Lane, Kettleby.
