A cheque presentation for £474.90p was made to Andrew Markham of Brigg (second left on the picture) - a regional rep for Pancreatic Cancer Action, by Nisa/DHL Scunthorpe.
The money came from an event to raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer.
It was one of several to mark World Pancreatic Cancer Day on November 15th, 2018.
Andrew has updated Brigg Blog about the local group's other activities in November.
"We are very grateful for the continued support of the people of Brigg and North Lincolnshire," he stressed.
"Brigg Inner Wheel organised a pilates session at Elsham Golf Club and a quiz night at St John's Church Hall, which raised over £1,000.
"A collection round Brigg on the 10th yielded £393.65p.
"Brigg Garden Centre generously allowed us to collect  £135 on a recent Saturday."
These fundraisers, along with the support of Brigg Town and North Lincolnshire Councils, meant a very successful awareness month, said Andrew on behalf of himself and fellow group members Zoe, Lesley and Tracy.
