The Mayor of North Lincolnshire, Coun John Briggs, from Crowle, will attend a ribbon cutting at Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort, Broughton, today - Thursday, November 1, 2018 - at 11am.
The Ermine Street facility is now the DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Golf & Spa Resort.

The original Briggate Lodge Hotel - forerunner of Forest Pines - was established in the late 1980s by a businessman who had operated the Lord Nelson in Brigg.
On Saturday November 10 the Mayor, pictured above, will attending a Remembrance Service at St Helena’s Church, Kirmington, which begins at 11am.
This church was close to RAF Kirmington - the Second World War bomber base - since transformed into Humberside Airport.
