Wreaths were laid in memory of The Fallen at the refurbished Monument war memorial in Brigg on Remembrance Sunday 2018 today (November 11).
The parade - featuring representatives of local groups and organisations - formed up on Station Road and set off in a heavy shower for St John's Church, where a service was held.
The parade then marched through the town centre to the Monument, on Wrawby Road, where wreaths were laid in memory of those who gave their lives.
Ahead of Remembrance Sunday the war memorial was cleaned and the names of servicemen killed in the service of their country re-gilded on the plaques at the base of the landmark structure.
It was heartening to see so many young people taking part in the parade, as well as a number of service veterans wearing their medals.
Some of those who visited the town centre to march or spectate were wearing medals awarded to family members years ago.
Among them was Lee Johnson, from Scawby, who sported his own Falklands War campaign medal and those awarded to his father who flew in bombers from RAF Elsham Wold during the Second World War and others presented to his grandfather who was in the Boer War and the 1914-18 conflict.
Many people today stopped to read the moving tributes to servicemen killed on active service that were on display at various points.
Brigg Blog photographed these informative signs and some of them appear below.
Remembrance Sunday today marked the 100th anniversary of the guns falling silent in the First World War, with the Armistice being signed to end the conflict with Germany.
Brigg Town Council organised the parade and, together with North Lincolnshire Council, funded the refurbishment of The Monument, which will be 100 years old next year.
