Riverside Surgery is looking to extend premises in nearby Broughton that are allied to the Barnard Avenue centre in Brigg.
The Broughton surgery on Brooklands Avenue - extended in July 2007 - has seen its patient list grow significantly.
The practice now says it requires additional consulting rooms and is looking to create an extension to the rear to accommodate these, as well as re-modelling the internal space.
It is intended to create a more inviting reception area, a new reception desk being "twinned with the pharmacy."
North Lincolnshire Council is now being asked to grant planning permission to change the use of domestic garden to form an extension and additional car parking, erection of a single-storey rear extension (including part demolition of an existing building) and associated external works.
The application is now under consideration.
