A major sporting event - the Lincsquad group's Keyo Brigg Sprint Triathlon - is taking place today (Sunday, September 30).
It's centred on Ancholme Leisure Centre, Scawby Brook, where swimming will take place in the pool from 8am.
Next comes cycling on local roads (including the A18 in Brigg as far as the Atherton Way roundabout), then a 5k run through Brigg along Bridge Street, through the Market Place, down Elwes Street towards Cadney and then back to the leisure centre.
The running section is due to conclude around 11.30am.
So the best time to watch the action in the town centre, or along the tree-lined section of Cadney Road, will be from 10.15am, we suggest.
