HUNT BRACE SEALS THREE POINTS FOR BARNETBY AGAINST BRIGG SIDE

Ben Hunt's brace on his league debut gave Barnetby all 3 points in their opening League fixture in division 1.
He scored the 2nd and 3rd goals in a 3-1 win against Briggensians and was also brought down in the penalty area in the opening minutes from which Barnetby took the lead via the trusted left boot of Shaun Clark.
It was a hard-fought contest as United led 1-0 at the interval only for Burkinshaw to deservedly equalise for Briggensians in their first ever division 1 fixture.
On a damp afternoon it was Hunt's strike from outside the box with 15 minutes left that gave Barnetby the edge and he sealed the win with his second minutes from the full-time Whistle.
