The Monument war memorial has now been refurbished and the lettering on the plaques listing the names of The Fallen re-gilded - funding coming from Brigg Town Council and North Lincolnshire Council.

Brigg Town Business Partnership is planning a best dressed window competition, and shops are beng asked to fly bunting and flags.
There will be a Cascade of Poppies from the Angel building's balcony, while Brigg Heritage Centre will stage children's craft events on November 3 and 10, marking the end of WW1, together with a pop-up exhibition.
An Armistice Day musical evening with the Blighty Belles will take place on Friday, November 9 at Brigg Servicemen's Club. Tickets costing £12, including supper, are now on sale at the Heritage Centre and Brigg Tourist Information within the Buttercross.
On Saturday, October 20 the Rabbit Hole bookshop, in the Market Place, will have a commemorative window display and WW1 artefacts on offer.
At the Servicemen's Club on Saturday, October 27 from 1pm there will be an Old Time Music Hall with varied entertainment. But chiefly yourselves! The same day will see children’s activities on the Millennium Green and a NAAFI (food and drink) Break at the Britannia Inn, Wrawby Street.
There will be a flower festival at St John's Church from Thursday, October 25 until Sunday, October 28.
Brigg Methodist Church will have a display of knitted poppies and a coffee morning on Saturday, November 10, from 10am, with displays of WW1 photos and memorabilia.
