DELAYS LIKELY FOR BRIGG DRIVERS DUE TO ROADWORKS

Such proved to be the case with a comment from Coun Chris Dyson at a meeting of Brigg Town Council when he expressed concerns about standing water and suggested that work was needed in the Elwes Street/Bigby Street area.
North Lincolnshire Council, as the highway authority, will be undertaking roadworks at this location between Wednesday and Friday, August 22 and 24, when delays are likely for drivers heading to and from the Angel car park or Cadney.
The council says minor drainage works will be taking place to replace an an existing gully opposite the launderette.
Two-way signals will be operating during the roadworks.
