Brigg Town Council is to try a new approach when it comes to hiring out the Angel Suite community function venue.
The authority has agreed to give Angel Suite manager Karen Deeley "the discretion to negotiate individual room hire on specific occasions, subject to approval by the Town Clerk."
Research is also to be undertaken "regarding the cost of more permanent bar arrangements."
Welcoming the new initiatives from a "working group" of councillors, Coun James Truepenny said he hoped more bookings would result.
He felt these initiatives would benefit the council and the public.
The Angel Suite can be hired for a wide range of events and functions.
