PLAN TO BUILD 13 NEW HOMES NEAR BRIGG CONSIDERED BY TOWN COUNCILLORS
Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee has considered a scheme to build 13 new homes on the outskirts of the town.
During its meeting in the Angel Suite Lounge, councillors heard from chairman Mike Storey that highways staff were not suggesting any alterations were needed at the entrance to the site.
Cyden Homes Ltd, of Laceby, is seeking permission for the dwellings.
The location is Pingley Vale, Bigby High Road (close to the A1084 and Brigg Garden Centre).
Gainsborough-based West Lindsey District Council is now considering the application - the site being just beyond Brigg's boundary within the neighbouring local authority.
The properties proposed will have three, four or five bedrooms.
The applicant suggests they "will provide for high quality market housing in varying floor areas to reflect the demand and profiles of differing family needs."
Brigg Town Council was able to comment on this application as a neighbouring authority and has raised no objection.
Lincolnshire County Council is the highway authority for the A1084 outside the entrance to the Pingley housing development.
Planning at this location is a matter for West Lindsey District Council.
In our area, North Lincolnshire Council undertakes both function as a unitary authority.
