COLOUR CHANGE APPROVED WITHIN BRIGG TOWN CENTRE

Prominent buildings in Brigg town centre can be  given a new colour scheme.
Local businessman Joe Mullen has been granted listed building consent to repaint Nos 60, 61 and 62 Wrawby Street - pictured here.
He proposed changing the colour scheme to Dulux Wethershield green glade (satin finish).
North Lincolnshire Council considered the application and has now given the necessary approval.
A council officer's report said what was planned would  improve the external appearance of the buildings. It was considered the work would not have an adverse impact.
Brigg Town Council had supported Mr Mullen's application.

  2. Nah!....the Great Wall of China took over 1600 years to build, although technically it's not just one structure....it's a series of walls.....
York Minster took about 250 years to build, while the Leaning Tower of Pisa took about 200 years to construct...and my DIY tiling of my en-suite is taking ages.....hope to finish it in my lifetime, otherwise I'll have to work overtime!

  5. Pete..you didn't specifically specify that is had to be man-made...so the Himalayas could be a natural contender....they're still under construction, sotto speak, and their foundation's go back about 50 million years ago.
Somewhere I've got a photo of a building inspector checking their footing!
