CHANGES IN BRIGG BIN COLLECTIONS THIS WEEK

North Lincolnshire Council's bin collection service has been hit in recent days because of snow and ice, with some households across the district not receiving scheduled visits.
The backlog in collections will result in a change affecting those Brigg households that are due to enjoy a Tuesday collection this week.
In a message posted on its website on Friday (March 2), North Lincolnshire Council says: "To help us catch up with general waste collections, there will be no brown (garden waste) bin collections next week (week commencing 5 March).

"All other waste and recycling collections planned for next week are expected to take place as normal."
So although brown bins will not be emptied in Brigg on Tuesday, crews will be in town to empty burgundy recycling bins containing plastic and cardboard.
