BEAST FROM THE EAST 2 CAUSES RE-SCHEDULING IN BRIGG

 

Another victim of the second so-called Beast from the East  snowfall (pictured above) has come to light in Brigg.
Due to the snow and strong winds that fell on Saturday (March 17) Glanford Boat Club, on Island Carr, had to cancel its "lift in" day when big cranes were due to transfer craft from dry land onto the River Ancholme - in readiness for the forthcoming season.
The decision to cancel was  taken on health and safety grounds.
The "lift in" has now been re-scheduled for this coming Saturday morning (March 24).
