Brigg Town Football Club climbed off the foot of the table with a tonic 2-1 home win yesterday (Saturday, January 6, 2018).
The Zebras defeated East Yorkshire Carnegie at The Hawthorns in division one of the ToolStation Northern Counties East League.
Having gone in a goal down at half-time, Brigg levelled just a minute into the second half through Ryan Thompson, and there was a late winner from Charlie Dolling.
Brigg have now moved above Retford United on goal difference.
This Saturday (January 13) the Zebras will be away to mid-table Swallownest (Sheffield area).
